Some helpful safety tips for surviving the snow taken from Rush Limbaugh  & the EIB network today for those of you unlucky enough to find yourselves in the east and victims of global warming  climate change the Great blizzard of 2013.

” #1 Just as you would put chains on your tires in sleet and heavy snow, put them on your boots, nikes, zephs, Airs (or in the case of OWS’rs your designer Birkenstock’s). This will keep you from slipping and depending on where you have your head, it could keep you from getting a head injury” 🙂

#2 Make sure to check your pilot light on your water heater and furnace, high winds could cause them to blow out and cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

#3 Do not open a window to keep fresh air coming in (in case you fear carbon monoxide poisoning), you could freeze.

#4 In re:#2-DO NOT attempt to warm your house by starting a fire in your home in say a garbage can. This could NOT only cause your house to explode, IF your pilot lights go out, it could also cause your home to burn down AND be a contributing factor to global warming climate change, which as we ALL know causes more CO2 to be emitted thus leading to more severe snow storms (like the one you are about to experience in the East)…

#5 The governor of several states have told people NOT to drive after 4:00,”

#6 In re:#4 Pick up all the bread and milk and dove chocolate you’ll need in case its a long blizzard.

The above blizzard safety tips will be updated throughout the weekend. I’d like to thank Rush for the inspiration and timely advice!
